Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas, calzones, and other items according to Grimaldi's Standards.
- Monitor the coal in our ovens to ensure the temperature and cooking times to ensure pizzas are cooked correctly.
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Restock pizza ingredients as needed and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of pizza preparation cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Experience in a pizza kitchen is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for a long period of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to details
- A valid food handlers card.
