- Requires at least one (1) year semi fleet and/or heavy-duty tire experience
Job Description:
- Tire installation and removal: Mounting and dismounting tires on and off tractor wheels, using tools like tire changers and lug wrenches
- Tire Repair: Patching or plugging tire punctures, replacing valves, identifying tire issues
- Tire Maintenance: Wheel alignments, rotating tires
- Inventory Management: Maintaining tire inventory, ordering new tires and keeping track of stock
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring a safe work environment, following safety procedures, and adhering to company policies
- Roadside Assistance: Providing assistance to drivers with flat tires or other tire-related issues
