Enterprise Architect - Cloud & Big DataRole Summary:Lead the end-to-end architectural strategy and design for migrating Florida Blue's Sailfish platform to a modern Snowflake Lakehouse architecture, integrated with Microsoft Fabric for analytics. This role ensures scalable, secure, and high-performance data infrastructure aligned with enterprise goals.Key Responsibilities:• Define and govern the target state architecture for cloud-based data and analytics platforms.• Architect the migration of on-prem Sailfish workloads to Snowflake Lakehouse using Snowpipe and Iceberg table formats.• Design and oversee the implementation of medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for structured data processing.• Integrate Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, DirectQuery, Mirroring) for real-time analytics and reporting.• Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks across Snowflake and Fabric.• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to align architecture with analytics and operational needs.Required Skills:• 20+ years in enterprise architecture with focus on cloud and big data platforms.• Deep expertise in Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Event Hubs, and Iceberg.• Proven experience in large-scale data platform migrations and hybrid cloud strategies.• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in healthcare or regulated industries.
