Position Summary
As an Ultrasound Technician, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures that help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients.
Responsibilities
- Performing high-quality ultrasound examinations using sonographic equipment
- Identifying and documenting areas of concern for physician review
- Preparing exam rooms and patients for procedures
- Assisting Radiologists with vascular ultrasound exams and ultrasound-guided biopsies
- Recognizing and reporting any urgent or abnormal findings
- Maintaining ultrasound equipment and reporting equipment issues as needed
- Completing accurate documentation and exam reports
- Managing multiple patients and priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure outstanding patient care

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- ARDMS certification required
- Current CPR certification required
- Vascular ultrasound experience preferred
- Strong technical and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual English/Spanish
