Position Summary

Responsible for assisting campers and instructors with activities. Be responsible, punctual and assist instructor as needed with camper safety and behavior.

Essential Position Functions
  • Maintains camper safety
  • Responsible for assisting with activities that correspond to the camp theme
  • Mentoring campers and teen volunteers
  • Assist with group and individual camper behavior and challenges
  • Assists with maintaining a proper classroom environment
  • Assists with light office work and other duties as assigned

Education Requirements and Technical Skills
  • Interest in biology, environmental science, marine science, outdoor education or elementary education
  • Camp experience
  • Customer service skills preferred
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred
  • Lifeguarding certification preferred
