Job Summary

You'll work alongside a collaborative healthcare team to assess, treat, and stabilize patients with a wide variety of medical emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Assess, prioritize, and provide nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status.
- Perform accurate documentation using the facility's electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (Florida or compact state license).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Professional resume required.
- Two professional references required.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department.
