Receptionist
Under limited supervision, greets visitors at community's front reception desk. Represents community to visitors and callers in a professional, pleasant and courteous manner; ensures their questions and needs are directed to the appropriate person.

- Has a basic level of a skill and can follow written or verbal instructions.
- Has basic technical skills to complete a few repetitive and well-defined duties.
- Has a basic knowledge of the organization in order to answer basic questions.
- Basic typing skills essential along with basic knowledge of PC's and word processing software, preferably in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English and understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
- Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level in which they are currently functioning.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Minimum of one year related experience and/or training
