- Tissue harvesting
- Cell culture techniques

- Maintaining clean and organized lab areas
- Managing ordering and supply inventories
- Creating and updating spreadsheets and other lab documents

- Basic knowledge of genetics and cell biology
- Basic knowledge in molecular biological and histological procedures and techniques including tissue sectioning, immunohistochemistry and fluorescence microscopy appreciated
- For the purpose of data analysis, knowledge of specific software such as GraphPad, Excel, ImageJ and Photoshop desired
- A background in mouse husbandry and tissue dissections would be a plus.
