BUILD BRIDGES TO SUCCESS

At Children's Home Society of Florida (CHS), we believe every family deserves access to the resources, support, and opportunities needed to thrive.

As a Navigator, you'll help families identify their strengths, overcome challenges, and connect to the services that can make a meaningful difference in their lives. Whether helping a parent access financial assistance, connecting a child to educational supports, or guiding a family through complex service systems, you'll be a trusted partner who helps turn obstacles into opportunities.

This is more than a referral role. It's an opportunity to empower families, strengthen communities, and help children achieve brighter futures.

If you're passionate about advocacy, relationship-building, and helping families find the right path forward, we'd love to meet you.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Navigator, you'll serve as an advocate, connector, and resource specialist for children and families.

Every day, you'll help families navigate healthcare, education, financial assistance, community resources, and family support systems that can improve stability and well-being. Through your guidance, families gain confidence, access needed services, and develop stronger support networks.

Your work may include:
  • Conducting intake screenings and needs assessments to identify family strengths, needs, and service priorities.
  • Connecting families to health, human services, educational resources, financial assistance programs, and community supports.
  • Building relationships with community providers and maintaining knowledge of available services and eligibility requirements.
  • Supporting families as they navigate complex service systems and overcome barriers to access.
  • Advocating for families when challenges arise with service providers or community agencies.
  • Educating families about available programs and helping them understand their options.
  • Conducting outreach activities, presentations, and community engagement efforts to increase awareness of services.
  • Maintaining and updating family resource guides, referral networks, and community resource libraries.
  • Coordinating transportation support or referrals when needed.
