Job Description
Responsibilities
- Maintains all community grounds by keeping common areas, entrances, breezeways, curbs, and streets clean, debris-free, and inspection-ready throughout the day.
- Manages trash and waste areas including emptying common-area bins, cleaning trash chutes, running and maintaining the compactor, and occasionally clearing obstructions from the hopper.
- Supports amenity upkeep by testing and logging pool/spa chemicals, arranging furniture, cleaning decks, maintaining grills, raking picnic areas, and ensuring car wash equipment is functional.
- Handles seasonal and safety tasks such as removing snow and ice, clearing hazards, and keeping all building entrances and walkways safe and accessible.
- Assists with maintenance operations by supporting the Maintenance Manager with various tasks, reporting issues needing attention, and delivering items to residents as needed.
- Secures and manages equipment
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license (free from major moving violations) and dependable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to use various hand tools and test equipment.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to push and pull up to 300 pounds on wheels
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb ladders of up to 40 feet in height.
- Must be able to use a hand-truck and/or company vehicles.
