Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Engagement Delivery Lead to support strategic data and analytics initiatives for the Enterprise Data Office (EDO). This role will act as the primary delivery interface between the client organization and the vendor delivery teams, ensuring successful execution of enterprise data programs, governance initiatives, analytics transformations, and AI/data modernization efforts.

The ideal candidate will combine strong stakeholder management, delivery governance, program execution, and enterprise data management expertise with the ability to drive measurable business outcomes across complex, cross-functional environments.

Key Responsibilities

Engagement & Delivery Management
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data and analytics programs for the client's Enterprise Data Office.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, including EDO leadership, business teams, IT, analytics, governance, and architecture groups.
  • Manage delivery commitments, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Ensure successful execution of multiple concurrent projects across data governance, data engineering, analytics, reporting, master data management, metadata, and AI/ML initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor delivery governance frameworks, status reporting, KPIs, and executive dashboards.
  • Drive program planning, sprint management, resource coordination, and release management.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management
  • Act as a strategic bridge between the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) IT organization and Business Units to ensure alignment of technology initiatives with business priorities.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, analytics needs, and transformation opportunities.
  • Facilitate collaboration between client business teams, EDP IT leadership, and Cognizant delivery teams to drive successful execution and adoption.
  • Support business case development and identify opportunities for innovation, optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Build trusted relationships with enterprise stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and governance forums.
  • Align vendor delivery capabilities with client business priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively address delivery concerns.
  • Coordinate across onshore, offshore, and cross-functional delivery teams.

Program Governance & Reporting
  • Prepare executive-level status reports, RAID logs, dashboards, and delivery metrics.
  • Track budget, utilization, delivery quality, and contractual commitments.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise delivery standards, security requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Manage change requests, scope alignment, and delivery prioritization.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across delivery functions.

Business Growth & Vendor Delivery Leadership
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for the Cognizant team within the Enterprise Data Office and related business functions.
  • Collaborate with client leadership and Cognizant account leadership to drive account expansion, strategic roadmap alignment, and long-term partnership growth.
  • Support fulfillment planning, resource onboarding, and capability expansion aligned with evolving client priorities.
  • Ensure delivery teams possess the required technical and functional skills aligned with AWS Cloud, Databricks, Analytics, and emerging AI/GenAI trends.
  • Drive capability development and adoption of modern data engineering, cloud analytics, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Coordinate across onshore/offshore teams, client stakeholders, and Cognizant leadership to ensure successful delivery and operational excellence.
  • Lead and mentor delivery managers, project managers, business analysts, architects, and engineering teams.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables through effective quality assurance and review processes.
  • Support resource planning, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Contribute to account growth through identification of transformation opportunities and value-added services.
  • Support proposal development, solution reviews, and strategic roadmap discussions.
