Description

Responsible for defining the clinical trial strategy, the profitability parameters and operational management of all clinical studies and outcomes registries, conducted by MCVI. Manage operational and logistical task of clinical development to ensure efficient execution of trials within established budgets, ensuring all activities occur in compliance with appropriate regulations, including FDA regulations, IDE, 510(k) guidelines. Manage clinical research and operations including design and initiation of clinical trials to optimize tactical and clinical value. Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of the interdisciplinary outcomes assessment, data management/analysis and publication of significant findings which impact the care of patients. Expert resource for questions surrounding the ethical and operational implementation of research protocols, data analysis for publication and quality issues. Responsibility for management and all National Cardiovascular Data Registries including ongoing data aggregation, chart review and development of strategies. Ensure timely data collection, analysis and publication of significant findings to impact and bring about changes in clinical practice. Manages the continuous quality improvement initiatives by managing data aggregation. Estimated salary range for this position is $128671.60 - $167273.08 / year depending on experience.

  • Doctor of Medicine / DO.
Additional Qualifications:
  • MD Degree required with specialization in one medical discipline.
  • FL medical license to practice clinical medicine is not required.
  • Seven years of clinical research experience with strong clinical/medical background.
  • Must possess medical or bioscientific, business, grant/promotional writing and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates strong planning, management, organization and analytical skills.
  • Requires extensive amount of initiative, analytical and evaluation efforts and constructive thinking to develop alternatives for resolution to frequently changing situations and difficult problems.
  • Additional medical specialty training in a residency program highly recommended.
