Position Overview
The Health Sciences and Nursing Accreditation & Outcomes Data Analyst provides specialized data analysis, assessment, accreditation, regulatory reporting, and program out-comes support for the School of Health Sciences and Benjamin Leon School of Nursing. This position collects, validates, analyzes, and reports program-level data related to student progression, retention, completion, licensure and certification, learning outcomes, and other measures required by specialized accrediting and regulatory agencies. The Analyst works in alignment with Miami Dade College's institutional research and technology standards and serves as the Medical Campus subject-matter resource for health sciences accreditation and program outcomes. This position utilizes College-approved data sources, systems, and business intelligence tools and does not establish independent institutional databases, data definitions, or reporting structures outside the College's enterprise data environment. This is a Professional Exempt Contractual (PEC) position for which an annual contract reflecting the base salary within the fiscal year (July 1st to June 30th) will be issued after ratification by Miami Dade College's District Board of Trustees.

What you will be doing
- Collects, validates, analyzes, and reports program-level data required for specialized accreditation, regulatory compliance, assessment, continuous improvement, and academic decision-making across the School of Health Sciences and Benjamin Leon School of Nursing
- Tracks student cohorts from admission through progression, retention, graduation, licensure or certification, and other applicable program outcomes
- Monitors program performance indicators including admissions metrics, applicant characteristics, cohort size, GPA, attrition, withdrawals, decelerations, dismissals, remediation activities and outcomes, graduation rates, student learning outcomes, licensure and certification performance, and employment outcomes when available
- Prepares recurring accreditation, assessment, and regulatory reports and supporting documentation required by specialized accrediting agencies, including ACEN/CCNE, AVMA, CAHIIM, CoA, CoARC, ARC-PA, CODA, JRCERT, JRCNMT, JRC-DMS, NAACLS, CAPTE, CAAHEP, CoAEMSP, and other applicable agencies
- Monitors and analyzes NCLEX-RN, NCLEX-PN, PANCE, and other applicable credentialing examination outcomes, including first-time pass rates, repeat-test performance, content-area performance, trends, and candidate feedback
- Maintains and analyzes Physician Assistant program assessment information related to course quality, instructional effectiveness, summative assessments, clinical education, faculty and preceptor evaluations, site evaluations, technical skills assessments, OSCEs, competency achievement, and remediation outcomes
- Develops, analyses and dashboards using College-approved business intelligence tools, including Power BI, to support program leadership, faculty, accreditation, assessment, and continuous improvement
- Develops, administers, analyzes, and reports results from surveys, course evaluations, assessment instruments, and other program-level measures required for accreditation and program effectiveness
- Collaborates with the College's institutional research, enterprise data, information technology, and other appropriate functions to ensure consistent data definitions, reporting methodologies, data quality, security, and governance
- Provides academic leaders with timely analysis of student and program outcomes to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Manages designated health sciences educational and assessment platforms, including ATI and other approved systems, when directly related to accreditation, assessment, licensure preparation, or program-outcomes reporting
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution and three (3) years of relevant experience in data analytics, compliance, assessment, accreditation reporting, data collection, institutional research; or a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and seven (7) years of relevant experience in data analytics, compliance, assessment, accreditation reporting, data collection, institutional research. All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Experience supporting accreditation, assessment, data analytics, or regulatory reporting in higher education is required
- Knowledge and understanding of college organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
- Knowledge of accreditation, assessment, regulatory reporting, and continuous quality improvement practices, preferably within health sciences, nursing, medical education, or academic healthcare environments
- Knowledge of data governance and strict compliance framework
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential student and institutional information in accordance with college policies, applicable laws, security requirements, and enterprise data governance standards
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to interpret complex students, academic, assessment, and program-outcomes data
- Knowledge of data governance, data integrity, privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in managing educational technology platforms
- Expertise using Power BI, Microsoft office software including Power Point, Excel, Outlook and Word
- Knowledge of technology services and support within higher education, academic health centers, medical schools, and health sciences education environments
- Ability to leverage technology to facilitate the management of student caseloads
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and performance gaps and communicate findings clearly to academic and administrative leaders
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include evening and weekend assignments
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess accurate and detail-oriented skills ensuring accuracy and integrity of work
- Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
